Using QCD Letter

This tool is available by default in the tool dock of your QCD board, as are the other elements of the QCD.
In this section, learn how to:
configure the tool in the dock to customize it according to your needs,
configure the letters to meet your specific requirements,
input indicator values.
What is a QCD Letter ?
A letter gathers all the data being handled and provides a centralized view of the indicators and associated actions.
Note:
You can input indicators on your QCD board only through the letter.
Name of the letter: Fully customizable in the dock.
Current (short term) time window: Time window is used as a basis for past historical data storage
Update frequency for current time window: For example, frequency is one week. Depending on the time window, it can be day, week or month
Number of actions: Number of pending actions associated with this letter.
Description: Brief contextual information.
Status of the box: Indicates the current status of the box.
Number of actions per box: Total number of actions associated with each box.
Comments: Additional information entered by the user.
Name and legend of the rings: Legend to identify each ring.
Character of the letter: Defined in the dock for identification purposes.
Note:
When you duplicate a letter, only its indicators are kept. Actions, historical data and indicator values are removed to prevent any confusion with the original letter.
Using Letter Tool
To use the letter tool:
Warning:
Only the Room administrator can:
configure the tool in the dock,
configure the letter: configure its properties.
However, if you have editing permissions for the board, you can access the letter configuration and view all the settings defined by the room administrator. The following restrictions apply:
No change in indicators,
No modification of the description,
Restricted edition of rings: if the ring has a custom cut-out, you can only modify the box labels.
