Card that has been manually archived by a user to mark it as done or resolved. An archived card can no longer be edited and does not appear in the "My Cards" view.

Short for Daily Capacity Management, is a module in iObeya that allows users to visually plan and manage daily activities in a collaborative manner, providing a high level of detail to ensure efficient use of resources and time.

Sub-division of the platform created by platform administrators to organize rooms into separate entities. Any individual item or component that can be added onto a board, such as sticky notes, cards, shapes, images, or text. These elements are the building blocks used to create and organize visual information and are created via the tools available in the dock.
Designated area in the dock within the board view. It allows users to move board content from one board to another within the same room, facilitating the transfer and organization of information across different boards.

Visual element used to simple display key performance indicators (KPIs). It represents data in a circular format, resembling a speedometer, allowing users to quickly assess performance levels or progress measures at a glance.
User who is granted limited read-only access to a room within the platform. Guest users have restricted permissions, allowing them to view all the boards in a room without having access to full editing features.
Specific mode activated at the room level, allowing the animator to lead the facilitation by walking participants through the boards. During this mode, participants cannot interact, edit, or navigate independently but can request control if needed.

Collection of images stored within the platform that users can access and use in their boards.
Digital drawing tool that allows users to write or draw freehand directly on a board. It simulates the experience of using a pen or marker on a physical whiteboard, enabling users to annotate, highlight, or sketch ideas in a flexible and intuitive manner on touch screens.

Board, available through the Jira connector, that can be structured based on Jira fields so that Jira cards are automatically imported into the correct column or row, depending on the values of these fields. It allows users to visualize, track, and update Jira issues directly within iObeya.

User responsible for guiding and managing the flow of a meeting. The facilitator ensures that the meeting stays on track, engages participants, and achieves its objectives. In iObeya, the users can use the meeting animation utility to become the meeting facilitator.
Alternative representation of the room view where all the boards are displayed at a glance. This layout allows users to quickly see and access multiple boards, providing an organized and compact overview of all the boards within a room.
Specific interaction mode that gives the users the ability to select and manipulate several elements on a board simultaneously. This feature allows users to move, edit, or delete multiple items at once, enhancing efficiency and ease of use when managing content on the board.
Default representation of the room view, where all boards are placed on an infinite wall. This layout mimics physical visual management practices, allowing users to organize and navigate boards as if they were on a large, continuous workspace.
Personal view that displays all the cards assigned to a user across different boards and rooms. This centralized view helps users easily track, manage, and prioritize their tasks and responsibilities within the platform.

By default, rooms in iObeya are private, meaning that users must be explicitly added to the team members list to gain access. Permission levels in iObeya refer to the different roles assigned to users within a virtual room, determining their access rights and what actions they can perform.
Board type used to organize, schedule, and manage projects, tasks and activities over a specific period. It typically features swimlanes, milestones, and task cards, enabling teams to visually plan and coordinate their work, track progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Dedicated tenant environment that hosts rooms, users, and data. It provides a secure, centralized space for collaboration and visual management, ensuring that all activities and information are contained within the organization’s dedicated instance. It may be divided into several domains to manage rooms and permissions.
User with the highest level of access and control within the platform. This role is responsible for managing the entire platform, including configuring settings, managing users and permissions, organizing rooms and domains. The platform administrator oversees all administrative tasks and maintains the overall integrity of the organization's iObeya instance.
Used for the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), it is a visual tool that helps Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to create a clear overview of the work planned for a Program Increment (PI). It helps to plan & track the features, dependencies, and milestones across multiple teams and iterations, enabling effective coordination and alignment within large-scale agile projects.
Q
Module in iObeya provides a framework to manage operational excellence at scale using visual management techniques. It enables teams to systematically monitor and improve key performance indicators related to various areas such as quality, cost, and delivery while enabling and supporting continuous improvement activities with consolidation and escalation process.

Virtual space where teams can collaborate, organize, and manage their work using boards, and other visual management tools. You can use each room for specific projects, departments, or teams. Additionally, a room represents the fundamental unit in iObeya’s consumption-based licensing model, where each license corresponds to the creation and use of one room.
User with elevated permissions responsible for managing and configuring a specific room. This role includes tasks such as adding or removing boards, managing users' access and permissions within the room, customizing the room’s layout, and standardizing visual management practices. The room administrator ensures that the team uses visual management in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.

Board that is made accessible to multiple users or teams within the platform by sharing a copy with other room administrators. It allows for collaboration across different rooms by enabling users to view, edit, and contribute to the board’s content, fostering cross-functional teamwork.
Request initiated by a room administrator to share a board with another administrator. The receiving room's administrator can accept or decline the shared board, facilitating controlled collaboration between different teams or projects within the platform.
Feature that automatically cycles through a sequence of boards preconfigured by a room administrator. It is used as a permanent information radiator between meetings to continuously display key information, updates, and visual content, ensuring that important data is always visible and accessible to team members.
Small, customizable visual element that can be placed on boards to highlight or annotate specific content. Stickers are often used to draw attention to important items, mark status, or provide additional context, enhancing visual communication.
Property of some elements such as boards or cards. It means that when you create a synchronized copy of such elements, any change to such synchronized element will be replicated to all the other copies it is synchronized with, no matter their location in the platform.
Card that is linked across multiple boards or rooms, ensuring that any updates or changes made to the card are automatically reflected in all instances where it appears.

A group of users who have access to a specific room within the platform. It is also the name of a tool that can be added to the dock, allowing users to insert team members' avatars onto the boards for better visualization of the participants involved in a project.
Used for the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), a team board in iObeya is a visual tool that helps Agile teams create a clear overview of the work planned for a Program Increment (PI). It is used to plan and track features and workload across multiple iterations for a single team. This board is especially useful during PI Planning for the Team Breakout sessions, enabling teams to align their tasks with the overall program objectives.
Generic term used to designate the various objects that can be added to the board’s dock to create board content. These include standard notes, cards, stickers, shapes, team avatars, and more, all of which are essential for building and organizing information on the board.

Additional features available in a room or board through the left-hand side menu. These include tools for meeting facilitation, search and filters, visual export, CSV import/export, and more.
