You need to upgrade the required dependencies and technical requirements for Java, Oracle, MariaDB, Tomcat and JDBC drivers before you start the upgrade procedure.
Exceptionally for MySQL with version 4.46:
Apply the version 4.46 database schema update before you upgrade to MySQL 8.4 LTS.
