For version 4.46 only, due to stricter constraints introduced by MySQL 8.4 LTS, you must apply the version 4.46 database schema update before you upgrade to MySQL 8.4 LTS.
We highly recommend creating a backup before you upgrade to MySQL 8.4 LTS. Refer to the Backup and restore section for detailed guidance on creating backups.
