Warning:
This section is restricted to Platform administrator only.
Some settings are general and therefore applied to the whole platform. The configuration is based on parameters that can be modified directly through the backend. In a form of « key=value » form, it must be composed of 5 elements:
hasOrange: adds orange in addition to red and green.
true / false
hasDoubleThreshold: manages two thresholds per indicator.
true / false
categories: list of default categories
Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, Category 4, Category 5
hasCategories: adds the type property of the category within an action
true / false
hasProblemCriticity: adds the criticity level of the category within an action.
true / false
escalationTypes: list of default escalation types
Level 1, Level 2, Level 3
qcdLabel: labels of QCD elements
value
backgroundFolder: directory with the standard board backgrounds
value
commonIndicatorsAtStartUp: determines whether the indicator Threshold settings are checked to “Common” by default.
true / false
enableConsolidation: option allowing indicator consolidation.
true / false
enableAutoLaunchConsolidation: option allowing automatic consolidation triggering.
true / false
isActionOwnerMandatory: determines whether the field « Owner » is mandatory or not when an action is edited.
true / false
hasMobileInterface: determines if the “Input of indicator” menu is displayed in the QCD utility so the corresponding interface can be used.
true / false
showEscalatedActionWithResponseInRoomTable: automatically removes an action from the action table of the room to which it is escalated when it receives a response.
true / false
enableExternalUserSearch: defines the scope of the search for authors and owners of QCD actions.
true / false
forceRegenerationOfActionIdOnImport: the default setting is “true”. When set to “false”, this option allows to bypass the standard behaviour during the board and room import that regenerates the QCD actions IDs to avoid duplication. Sometimes, in case of migration purpose, it may be useful to keep them as is.
true/false
The impacts of the values of these parameters are described in the user guide.
Viewing and Editing Configuration Settings
You can view and modify the QCD configuration settings from the Add-ons menu in the platform's administration interface.
When the add-on is deployed on the server, a QCD line is displayed.
Hover over the line and click Configure to access the list of settings.
The following interface displays the settings and their values:
Click Edit configuration to modify configuration settings and their values.
Save your changes. After saving, the new settings are automatically applied to all new user sessions.
Note:
Changing the values of “categories” and “escalationTypes” is not applied:
to existing actions
in the room settings
