Configuring Tools Dock

The tools dock is a customizable panel typically located at the bottom of your board. It contains all the essential tools you need to create, edit, and manage elements on your boards, such as notes, shapes, images, and more.

When you create your board, by default, you have a tool dock populated with standard tools:

You can configure your tools board by board, or use a tool in several boards.

From your board, click the Pen icon to edit the dock. The Edit dock screen is displayed and allows to add, edite and delete tools.

Adding new tools

From the Edit dock screen:

  1. Click +.

  2. Add the required tools to your board.

  3. Click Apply.

  4. Click Save or continue to configure your Board Tools.

Note:

Your dock can contain a maximum of 11 tools.

Editing and configuring tools

Your tools are added to your dock.

To configure one, select and edit it in the lower part of the screen:

  1. Select one or more elements.

  2. Configure the name, size, layout, color, etc. of the selected elements.

  3. Click Save or continue to configure your board tools.

Tip:

Change the position of a tool in the dock by grabbing it and sliding it to the right or to the left.

You may reorganize the elements within a given tool by using the arrows in the bottom corners of each instance.

Removing tools

From the Edit dock page:

  1. Click a tool.

  2. Click the (-) remove tool icon.

  3. Click Save or continue to configure your board tools.
