Room View

iObeya rooms are collaborative spaces that contain the Visual Management boards of a team for a project, a program, a business unit or any type of activity that uses Visual Management.

Accessing a room

Select a room from the list of the rooms to which you have access.

Note:

You can search for a room by entering its name in the search bar on the top-left of the Home page screen.

Browsing the room view

The room view allows to:

• view all the boards in a project,

• edit Board content,

• configure and customize your room (adding boards and organizing your room, renaming your room, etc.),

• share a board with another room,

• switch from Mural view to Mosaic view,

• export and import boards,

• use iObeya utilities,

• go back to the Home page.

Top bar actions

From the header, you can:

1. go back to the Home page.

2. view the room name.

3. view who is online in your room.

4. set your room:

   • rename your room

   • change your room icon

   • manage teams and permissions

   • make room and board utilities available

5. From left to right:

   • check your notifications when you receive a new one.

   • access online documentation, learning paths, videos, webinars, useful links and much more to get help.

   • access to all iObeya news.

   • access iObeya Services hub.

   • change your iObeya preferences.

Room views

When you access a room, you can:

1. switch from mural view to mosaic view.

2. zoom in and out.

   Note:

   You can also zoom in and out of the boards using your mouse wheel or your fingers (spread / pinch).

Configure the room

From the Configure the room button, you can:

1. add boards. See Adding a board to your room to get out more.

2. use board board templates.

3. import board.

4. retrieve a Shared board.

5. organize your room by categories.

Utilities

From your room utilities, you can:

1. have a view on your daily KPI’s.

   See the KPI’s and flat view section to find out more.

2. facilitate a meeting. Enable the timer, guide participants around the room, and manage creativity sessions.

3. enable a board-by-board presentation of the virtual room.

4. import and export all or some elements of a board (CSV file).

5. create a screenshot of a single board or of all the board in the room. Export as images.

6. hide the utilities menu
