Installation

The iObeya server runs in Apache Tomcat within a JAVA environment.

The versions compatibles with iObeya are listed in the Technical Requirements.

The steps to configure the JVM parameters are described in the Installation guide > Configuring Tomcat memory and Classpath settings.

Adjust the servers configuration

The final values for these parameters will depend on the package that you have selected, and the next sections of this guide will show you what parameters should be used.

Pre-production Server

Having a pre-production server to test installations and upgrades before deploying them in production is highly recommended, especially if iObeya usage is critical.

It is imperative to validate any technical operations in a separate environment.

Backups
